Forces loyal to Libya’s UN-backed Unity Govement say they have made further progress in their fight against Islamic State (ISIS / Daesh / ISIL / IS) terrorist group militants in Sirte. With the help of US airstrikes, fighters claimed to have secured Residential Area Number Three over the weekend, and are now attacking the ISIS group's last remaining positions in the coastal city. A Florida woman was playing games on her mobile phone outside her house, when an uninvited guest weighing some 300 pounds (almost 135 KG) suddenly appeared right before her nose. Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim on Thursday insisted his country would not relax its contested anti-terror laws, a key condition laid down by the European Union for giving Turks visa-free access to the bloc.
